Nice to see you back Mary!

Welcome Mary C! We're all constantly learning about these birds, even those who've been watching for years. It's part of the fun and wonder of ospreys!
Was just about to post about the fish delivery Ian, but you nipped in there
Aila was looking serene incubating in the sunshine
Louis arrives with the fish
Aila flies off with it in her talons

Unknown said:Good morning all. I’m sorry if this appears in the wrong place, but with not being a regular poster I still find the intricacies of posting, which I know will be so simple to you, a little confusing. I just wanted to thank all the contributors to the Loch Arkaig thread, & in particular to those who were here in 2017. I didn’t join the party until the first egg was laid & so missed all the early bonding, or not, between Louis & Aila. Even after this point I was still very much in the learning stage & was too amazed by it all to take much of it in. To be able to now have your comments, photos & videos for that season to refer to is invaluable. Thank you again for taking the time to do it
Lovely to see you here Mary. You will see that many of us love the LA nest, and the character that is Louis! I came across a Woodland Trust post about Louis seeking a female and followed it from there. It has been a real learning curve, for both Aila and Louis and me, to follow the development of a nest from the go. Thanks too for your FB group!
