What a hoot, Ian.
Louis landed with his Y-shaped stick, upset Aila who flew, followed by Louis
Louis returned to attack his Y-shaped stick
We'll try to put it here
Or perhaps here
No, it might be easier over here, but my tail is in the wrong place
Perhaps if I bite a bit off
That's no good, let's try it over there
Arn't I clever!
No, that's still not right
Over there again, and it was successful
Must cover eggs, or else the Missus will be cross
17.31 Aila returned
She moved Louis' Y-shaped stick!! and then she spotted another stick which required moving
Louis flew off, Aila was content and incubated! Whew

Further to my above post, I am not sure what Aila came back with at 17.31, it almost looks like fibres of wool or some other animal hair. Ian
20.20, Louis brings in a nice headless fish. Aila takes it in her talons. The really good news is that the earlier rubbish stick ends up being knocked off the nest as Aila clumsily takes the fish from Louis Ian
Cathy said:Glad to see she took it in her talons, Ian.
Almost as good as seeing that stick disappear from the edge of the nest Ian
Aila comes back and Louis departs at 20.59. There is a brilliant view of him gliding all the way to and settling on the bottom branch of his "stick tree" perch. Ian
Some catchups
(I'm not going to downsize every single one [you may not think I do but I do, it's this awful UHD display that makes them so big] because of pressure of time and mental debility, due to dreadful problems with the noo laptop.)

Tut! But I haven't followed it very far:
The daftest stick! More than adequately snapped by SHEILA :)
Heaven knows what this stuff was, IAN :o
I think Aila herself was wondering:
20:21
Yay!
No rain this evening, yet!
On my thru I didn't register Louis's lovely flight as described by IAN. It may be in the Recycle Bin... :'(

No I hadn't missed it, it was the next bit I'd saved:
