A watchful but uneventful overnight for Aila ~ unless I've missed something by going thru too fast ;)
This morning @ 04:44 she unearthed a fishtail and did 2 flyabouts with it then ate it on the nest, meanly turning away at the tailfin stage ;)
EDIT - those snaps are all only 500px wide, the drag-n-drop takes no flipping notice and lets them go wild.
IMAGICAT
Its new-found popularity is making the Arkaig nest even harder for me to access now.

Yes Korky 593 watching now, must be the most popular nest out of ALL the webcams I would think.

10.17, they are both on the nest, the difference in plumage colour is very obvious in the sunshine. Louis is much lighter than Aila. Ian
EDIT - 10.19, something is overhead, Louis is giving warning calls. At 10.21 Louis leaves the nest and Aila is still looking up.
Scylla "This morning @ 04:44 she unearthed a fishtail". That is the one she dropped on the nest per my post of 19.29 on 5 May. Ian
Came on to see if Aila had a fish today, thanks Cathy for the time check!
A full flatty! Louis has been to a sea loch!

Good Morning All
Aila lying flat through the night but she is keeping her eyes open. No wonder she nods off during the day.
No visits from Louis that I can find. He is sitting on the tree in the distance. I watched him fly from there the other morning.
The microphone is a bit noisy this morning.
