Last season Louis and Aila arrived on their nest almost at the same instant on the 4th of April. Here's to a repeat, but a few days earlier to save our anxiety.

IMAGICAT
"Disaster" this morning, as I forgot that I'd had to turn off the monitor last night due to permanent buffer, so when I went to check on arrivals they were nowhere to be seen ;)
Fish:
10.47, Aila has been fish calling for ages, she is rewarded with a nice headless fish which she takes with no fuss and flies. There have also been three (that I have seen) successful matings and one clump of moss since my last post. Ian
Fish delivery as described by Ian above.
Aila promptly leaves with her fish

11.44, failed mating attempt, Aila was completely uninterested. I'm not going to bother posting about any more mating, what we want now is an egg with more to follow! Ian
14.45, Sorry for the late post, I was doing a spot of gardening. Aila isn't calling for fish as Louis brings in a headless one. She doesn't really show any interest in it, glancing at it from time to time. When she shows a modicum of interest I get the impression Louis isn't keen to hand it over. After about seven minutes of standing holding it, Louis flies off with it. When Louis returns at 15.00 she still doesn't seem interested in the fish, so after eight minutes Louis flies with it. He comes back at 16.06, this time empty taloned. Ian
