Last season Louis and Aila arrived on their nest almost at the same instant on the 4th of April. Here's to a repeat, but a few days earlier to save our anxiety.

18.42, they were both on the nest having arrived together at 18.40. Although I didn't see it, Aila must have brought back some of her fish as Louis takes it from the nest and flies off. Ian
Nice evening. Louis has just left

I am so surprised to see an empty nestcup, I thought your 'prediction' would be spot-on, IAN. No roundup from me this evening, unless a change of mood liaises with the 'space' to do it.

Yes he did take fish - it was from the nestcup and SO 'dusty' it was camouflaged - the next frame after this he was mantling over it, couldn't get a better shot:
He brought it back looking much cleaner - and flew off with it again!
Aila last seen:
Louis flew in very early this morning and seemed to think there was a threat:
They both soon turned up again:
While Louis was fishing (wishful thinking) Aila did a bit of tidying but mostly just stood:
I'm not up-to-date.
07.56, Louis brings in a stick but what is really noticeable is the emptiness of Aila's crop. 07.58, she has a peck at him & tries to flap him off. 07.59, she does flap him off & starts fish calling. Ian
