Glad that you can ID Louis as I've not watched much of this nest so far. Thanks for your continued postings here :)

I'm back.  I have looked at a few earlier photos of Louis, and I certainly think the bird on the right of my third photo is Louis.  I was a bit flumoxed by the dark line at the bottom of his faint chest markings, but it certainly shows on a snip I took of him on 16 April below

15.05, Louis joins Aila on the nest (she lets him!). I think he may still have the by now very scrawny remains of the fish but apart from a few fish calls she make no attempt to get it. Louis flies off at 15.08. Hopefully things are nice and calm again, even if the wind isn't. Ian

Aila has left the nest but back again. I am going offline now for a couple of hours. Ian

It has been a bit erratic for me today, working at the moment. Ian

16.44, Louis tries to mate, no chance says Aila. The nest has been empty since 17.28 when Aila left. Ian

EDIT - Aila is back at 17.44.

17.58, Louis delivers a (whole I think) fish. Aila takes it with no fuss & flies. Ian
