Last season Louis and Aila arrived on their nest almost at the same instant on the 4th of April. Here's to a repeat, but a few days earlier to save our anxiety.

15.39, successful mating and again at 15.44. Ian
16.59, Aila up to the perch. I don't remember her making so much use of it this early on in previous years. 17.03, she's off. Ian
Random bits from yesterday.
Louis brought lots of spiky stuff and other nest materials, Aila brought 2 mossballs, which may be intended as mothballs!
Aila got 2 half fish that I noticed, speeding thru:
The second could only be glimpsed as Aila flew off with it:
After our ospreys had left the ghost of the Robin popped onto the perch and onto the nest, it was a miracle it caught my attention - here it was, honest!
Good Morning All and Ian
I see Aila on her perch at the moment, I don't think I have ever seen her use that perch so much.
She flew in at 07.25 am
Did a few pretty poses for us
Flew up to the perch and has been there ever since
