It is very hard to gauge but there appeared to be a lot of 'white' in the centre of the nest in my earlier snaps.
I've just come in from gardening too, gosh it's hot outside!
Border Ospreys has a pair again, at last. Poor Samson, they love him and leave him.
I don't have a lot of info on this nest, but Samson and Delilah were together certainly from 2016 until 2018 when Delilah returned, but disappeared three weeks latter after she had taken a fish from Samson, never to return.
2018 Blue NH0(16) f from Contin became the new female, and she was given the name of Freya. However she had many day trips to Kielder. Freya kept disappearing to Kielder, and there was an intruder, blue NH3(17)f hatched Sutherland. Sadly there were no chicks that year.
2019 Blue NH0(16)f Freya did not return. Whether she found a better area, or sadly perished we will never know. Blue KX7(17))f from Tain arrived on 24 May and by mid-July she was still bonding with Samson, and another sad year with no chicks.
2020 Samson returned once more. Blue KX7(17) was probably seen in Senegal over the winter, and she visited Kielder on 5 April. Samson returned the following day, and KX7 was noted back at Kielder. Since then Blue 3AF(17) f from Rutland spent the morning on the nest, doing a spot of housework which Samson was away fish. She had been seen before then on 21 April at Dyfi! The girl gets around. By 2 May she was still at Border Ospreys with Samson, and they now seem settled, although this blog from Rosie Shields suggests that things are not exactly all rosie!

I did see her off the eggs at one point, but I didn't see any movement.

When I opened cam I an Osprey was incubating, then it flew off at the time on the screen.
It came back 4 minutes later - only seems to be one egg here now. I thought there were more laid.?
