Angela for PM (move over, Boris)
The Rainbow Lorikeets can be her cabinet, they can't do any worse than the current shower.
(She's got a stripey frame because my software protested at me adjusting colours.)
Captiva - There have been several matings that I've noticed on a quick run-thru of the day.
At teatime Andy brought an unidentifiable fish for Lena, she took it and flew with it:
Boreal Ontario
The Pine Grosbeaks completely dominated the day, with Gray Jays (2) in 'n out 2-3 times. Late afternoon, when the Grosbeaks at last went off to roost, Chickadee(s) and 2-3 Common Redpolls got a look-in. Last year there were flocks of Redpoll, maybe it's not yet the right time of year.
IMAGICAT
Angela deserves a long enjoyable retirement. I'd like to see how the lorikeets would fare in the Cabinet and the Parliament!! Certainly enough noise!

First time more than 1-2 Redpoll but there should soon be a lot more:
08 January
Havoc in the morning, difficult for the birds to get started:
Later, after a refil, a minor catastrophe:
The Pine Grosbeaks did turn up later but then there were long patches of no birds and I seem to have had internet probs.
Then overnight another feeder got blow'd wonky!
Just a wing I happened upon:
A new feeder got put up:
The Ruffed Grouose popped in (between the red hordes ):
A Black-capped Chickadee tackled the hard cake:
CIRRUS - Here's a Red-bellied Woodpecker flying in for a handful of peanuts - you can see its reddish belly as it first comes into view.
Moved - wrong thread.
