IMAGICAT
Birdies LG DU update.
Wow, that was amazing. Looked like a male wanting to mate? The other one definitely blue-ringed. Personally, I can't believe this is a coincidence and it seems that the work done is paying off straight away.
Edit: I'm not so sure about the ring now, having looked again.
Hello guys, It's Blair here, I just want to reiterate Jess' point last night as we have had a few phone calls this morning already. We have already had 2 ospreys this morning, but we didn't zoom in as we want to minimise the amount of noise and movement we make in order not to scare the ospreys off. As the ospreys have now left we have zoomed into the nest in order to get a better sight of them if one or both should return. This will allow us (including you) to have a better chance of reading leg rings and making out markings on individual birds. I hope you guys understand. Thanks as always, Blair

A truly revamped nest! Well done VC. Not only has the meadow been removed and the sides lowered, but the 'crown' over the flat top of the nestcam post has also gone. We will never know what has caused these two osprey to arrive today, but whatever the reason they are very welcome!
