Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. They are currently incubating 4 eggs laid 2, 5, 8 and 11 April with the first expected to hatch around 9 May

Morning all - thanks for the updates.
Feed in progress just now #4 in the middle of its elders and grabbing fish too

33 just landed with a huge fish
33 flies off and one of the older chicks along with #3 and #4 line up for their supper
Oh dear feed has turned ugly :-(
One of the older chicks first attacks #4 and then turns on the other older chick. #4 is in submission pose also #3.
The older chick that had just been attacked crept forward to the feeding line and started, for no reason, beating up poor little #4 who was in submission. Well the older chick turned and attacked it. Don't know if it was because it attacked #4 or the fact it came forward towards the feed.
Mayhem ....... Maya has stopped feeding and gets herself in amongst the chicks.
I could not post earlier but saw the 16:00 feed and there was some aggression then towards #4 and #3. They had to wait until the end to be fed but they were and all chicks turned away and snuggled down full.
