MANTON BAY – JUNE 2019

Last night 33 delivered a fish just before 9pm. Maya started to feed one of the oldest along with #3 and #4 and they got a little fish. Then mayhem broke out with both the older chicks first showing aggression towards #4 and then one of them attacked the other.   Maya stopped feeding and got herself in among them and snuggled down.

So the chicks went to bed with no supper! They will be hungry this morning and the first feed may very well be domineered by the older chick? 

It looks like there has been a feed, as Maya is cleaning the nest but I missed it so no idea who was fed.

Good Moening JANE Maya moved astick at the front a while ago but now feeding her brood again except .....is it #4 who is fast asleep Ah! woken up, a bit of a win stretch but decided not to join the throng

A stick delivery and then a feed which seems to be relatively calm so perhaps just a top up.

Good morning Patily, I have to admit I’m beginning to struggle with identifying the youngsters.

#2 turned away too,,,,and now so has 1

Must have been #3 that was asleep earlier as its '#4 alone being filled up now

Had typed earier that it was great to have the zoom but the post disappeared as I typed

#4 was having agreat feed then #2 came back but good ol' Maya giving fish to both

#4 turned away and suddenly #3 decides they want topping up after all and waddles to the front
