Had to find it, JANE, just to see what it looked like ;) Pity no zoom at that time.
It wasn't wanted so he took it away again.

It was my husband the fisherman who shouted out “watch out for the chicks”.

Some captures from earlier
11:14 There was an unseen intruder about. Maya mantling
A minute later, 33 arrived, wing flapping and mantling. Thankfully came to nothing.
12:08 #4 is in the middle of its elders.
13:05 Maya stands watching over the chicks. #3 head is now darkening.
Few minutes ago, 33 just flew off leaving another large fish on the nest. Maya feeding the chicks from an earlier one. Don't know what is wrong with #4 lying all alone. It's moving, so OK so perhaps just tired or maybe was fed first?
Feed over and chicks all snuggle down in front of Maya but not for long, they are up again and #4 too then back down.
All chicks are panting so must be warm. Actually it is amazing the difference between here and the Lowes. Chicks are same age yet Maya has seldom covered them, even #4. It must be a hardy wee thing :-D
But, in between planting, anytime I have looked at the nest, all has been quiet.
Back to the garden now - BBL
33 has just arrived with another fish which Maya takes and drags it round the nest. Chicks line up in front of her for their fish
33 flies off. Maya moves round a little to try and get back from the edge and continues to feed.
Maya keeps having to move to keep them from the edge as they push forward for fish. #4 was in front but being pushed out.
Maya has moved again a couple of times, also secured sticks at the front of the nest and she continues to feed the three larger chicks. But I am sure Maya will not forget #4 and it will get some later.
Maya still feeding and it is actually quite uncomfortable to watch as she is right at the edge and the chicks at her feet. And it is only going to get more difficult as they need more fish and there will also be less room as they grow!
I wish 33 would fly in and help out just now
