Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. They are currently incubating 4 eggs laid 2, 5, 8 and 11 April with the first expected to hatch around 9 May

This is worth it tho, just for the demo of 33's careless feet !!!

He has now flown and Maya starts to feed the chicks

The older chicks, with #3 in the middle are getting most. #4 is stuck at the back and having to wait
After a while, #3 now retreats leaving a gap and #4 now tries to push forward joined again by #3. Poor #4 has been under the older chicks but soon gets its head up.
And eventually, a little bit of fish for #4
and later .... another bit for #4
and some more for #4
#4 is being well fed after its elders are full and what looks like a private sitting LOL.

Birdies LG DU update.
Cam was freezing quite a bit and has now zoomed out.
33 arrives, take the fish and flies off with it
Team now zooming in a little. Great they are getting the hang of this for if they have not used it before, they will have to practice a little
Maya having a preen just now while the chicks sleep
33 returns with the fish
Maya picks up another bit of fish and the chicks get up for time for another feed and of course 33 blocks our view :-)
33 then flies off. Cam has zoomed out a little.
Two chicks up for fish. 33 was moving the hay and I think one of them is partially under it for I can see it moving left of the blob.
#4 is now climbing up on its siblings
And #3 now joins in behind #1, #4 & #2 so no chicks under the hay :-)

Maya is doing a grand job - tearing and dishing it out. All chicks will get some :-)
