MANTON BAY – MAY 2019

I am recording but still embroiled in the hatch quest !!!  It was a very bad idea to go backwards, I'm now at 20:00-21:00 yesterday evening and haven't got anything conclusive but lots of blurry possibilities.

MIKE - re "nothing wrong with the cam" - If their setup is anything like LG's, they need to be told (maybe "advised" would be more polite) to watch the internet feed, not what they see at HQ.

MC. Believe me they have been 'advised' on all aspects!!

What they see at HQ is what we see I assume as they are miles away from Lyndon, which, as far as I know, is the only place with a direct feed.

I need to go out for a bit and chill !!

Karen you are so diplomatic. I'm trying not to say anything about the cam because it is the same every year.......dreadful. I dare not look at the fish incident, my blood pressure will soar.

Blue has returned with a fish, dead this time. 

I've emerged at last from the 3 video editors required to complete these self-imposed tasks!

Last evening I wondered if there was already new loose shell, not long after the straw-plonking event:

I've done more, later, but it's all so unclear it's not worth you spending time on, IMHO.

Also for looking for the hatch but without being zoomed in and properly focused, it is very hard to tell.

I actually thought it had hatched last night, but when I looked again I thought NO, it is a twig not a broken shell and then another look and I was thinking it had, then NO and then I gave up, shut down and went and put some eye pads on LOL
