Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Telyn (Blue 3J) arrived back 30 March and Monty on 1 April. They are currently incubating 3 eggs laid 17, 20 and 23 April with the first expected to hatch around 24 May.

I left this snap out from yesterday and am adding it cos I like it ;)
Telyn had a 30-second flyabout in the night:
Monty arrived early, at the time of night>day>night etc:
After toying with a couple of sticks and hanging around he flew up to the perch:
My download stopped at the 6-hour cut-off @ 05:40 and I woke up and restarted it 10+ minutes later.
It's too dark to see easily who is who.
EDIT - After posting I see that these "enhancements" have been unsuccessful, sorry. We needed a movie to see the trail ;)
Monty was gone from the perch, then Telyn flew off trailing nest material - this snap is severely 'enhanced' so you can see it:
Monty took over and Telyn flew up to the perch, still trailing her nest material:
As she started to preen it fell away:
Telyn went on a flyabout and returned to the nest:
A little persuasion and Monty flew to his low perch:
Then Telyn flew up to the perch again!
This is enhanced but not so egregiously ;)
Monty took over, then Telyn returned and took over:
Off went Monty, back to the low perch and that's as far as I've got but it was 07:43, anything could have happened since ;) I can't do any more till I stop the download again, as I'm not good at rollbacks on YouTube.
IMAGICAT

Birdies LG DU update.
Facebook post of an Owl attack on Monty. More to come later.
There's been a lot of chopping and changing, when Telyn would allow it - which wasn't as often as Monty wanted.
These snaps are probably in the wrong order, and they don't tell a story, they're just nice snaps of our dear couple.
After changeovers:
Dry feathers!
Monty got his way:
