Well, I thought I'd start a new thread now both birds are back. I can't remember if we do a daily or a weekly thread for LotL?
LF15 (aka Lassie) arrived back on the nest at 5.50pm on Saturday 23rd March, after LM12 (aka Laddie) had been skydancing for an hour or so. He delivered a bit of fish but there was no nookie observed. This will no doubt happen once the bond is truly resealed and Sunday 24th March may be a busy day. As at 4.10am, she is still on the nest, asleep, in the droopy, head down position, like she's got a headache. Tired after her journey but no doubt happy to be home.
SWT have yet to confirm it's her but it's looking very likely.
IMAGICAT
I couldn't hear any skydancing this morning but I think he must have performed, as Lassie was looking up.
His intention didn't work out on fly-in:
Good Morning All
Gentle cheeps from Lassie, brought Laddie in to mate, he had a little rest on Lassie's back during it, now both are looking out as though there is someone around.

It's a pity the difference in sound was the other way Scylla, where the sound came before the action it could warn us and we would be waiting with finger at the ready, but alas that would be too convenient for us LOL....
Searching on the "go back" feature takes great skill to pinpoint the precise action....
Who does this look like :-)
Laddie came to nest mantling, then Lassie flew off for a fly around and came back, not sure if there is another Osprey around or not...

If Laddie digs that nest cup any deeper he will be through the bottom of the nest
I'm away for a few days so here's one for the pot before I go. I'll be keeping an eye on everything and liking from afar
