Hi everyone, It was quite a day yesterday. Titch showing off his flying skills, landings not so good
Didn't see much as was out for most of the morning. Afternoon had its moments, with fish deliveries, intruder alerts, and flying practice In all a typical osprey family day again.
What will tomorrow bring!!!! Titch is home alone, EJ , after a late night snack with junior, flew off about 11pm to roost. The other two are probably nearbye but Junior still prefers the safety of the nest.
Happy viewing night shift and we do value all your contributions as it keeps us informed of whats gone on or not as the case may be overnight. Hope I'm not being pompous about that.
Take care all. Night, night.

Someone just made a call but don't know who
Nothing happening at present as its too wet, will look in later. Gone to watch other nests where weather is a little better.
Have heard the odd 'cheep' but its very quiet - no wonder, they are probably all sitting on branches watching the rain drip down. Every now & then Titch gives his feathers a good shake to let it run off again.
Oh dear ... still a soggy scene ... looks like LG is getting what we had yesterday. Titch still sitting looking bedraggled, almost off screen on the right. I am getting on with loads of jobs while all is quiet ... just having the odd peek ... and of course I have the sound turned up :-))

Me too, Joan - lots getting done, here!
Good morning all and thanks to the night shift for news while we are in the land of nod. Logged on to see a rather wet dejected Titch sitting in the rain. Got to catch up with yesterday's post yet but it seems Titch hasn't quite mastered its landing yet. Glad to hear they have all eaten this morning.
Margobird
Its raining a bit less now, so Titch has woken up a bit, and is having a good flap & practice with the wings.
Here he is in between flapping:
-- can hear other ospreys calling in the distance to each other....
He is looking around at the scene, and listening to the others' calls: here he is, looking like the handsome adult he will soon become, another version of Odin I think:
Titch having major wingercise and screech. Another osprey flew by ... must be a family member because he wasn't bothered, just watched it fly past!!
"If I keep at it, I'll soon master this flying lark!"
