Hi everyone, It was quite a day yesterday. Titch showing off his flying skills, landings not so good
Didn't see much as was out for most of the morning. Afternoon had its moments, with fish deliveries, intruder alerts, and flying practice In all a typical osprey family day again.
What will tomorrow bring!!!! Titch is home alone, EJ , after a late night snack with junior, flew off about 11pm to roost. The other two are probably nearbye but Junior still prefers the safety of the nest.
Happy viewing night shift and we do value all your contributions as it keeps us informed of whats gone on or not as the case may be overnight. Hope I'm not being pompous about that.
Take care all. Night, night.

Thanks for starting us off Lynette.
3.19am and one chick on the nest. He seems to be roosting on the long branch, stretched across the nest!
Evening all: Been really busy all day; haven't had time to catch up on much, other than to gather that Titch is practicing much-need landing skills.
Lynette: Thanks again for starting the thread - did peruse your post closley but couldn't find even a hint of pomposity in it! :-))
Gary: Evening; my OH is heading to the UK tomorrow for almost a month. Would you like the plane to stopover in Connecticut for any packages you have for UK family? I'm sure the airline won't mind.
Gosh. Is it raining there? Titch is wide awake and sitting on her favorite stick and looking around. Contemplating a night flight? Oh please, no!
TItch flapping about - now sitting on that perch at right of nest.
Day cam is on and it's misty and damp at LG. Titch is either nodding off or staring at something below.
Hi Annette: up early again myself, so might as well post some of that wingercising by Titch:

I thought I just saw Robert the Bruce on here! Maybe I clicked on the wrong thread. Maybe it's time to go to bed.... Titch is still hanging out on the right side of the nest.
Sorry folks, turning in. really tired.
EDIT: Oh Robert! There you are! I was beginning to wonder.... :-) You are up early and I'm going to bed earlier than usual.....
Take care all. Happy viewing.
Robert: Did you see all that flapping from just below the nest at rear left? Well, somebody just flew off from that area. Hmmm. In the meantime, Titch still waiting for breakfast. Really am signing off now!
Someone is eating a fish. I can only see the back end of the chick so I don't know which one it is. I also don't know who delivered it. At least we know one has eaten
I am falling down on the night shift job LOL
It is still raining

Now Titch (?) came to the nest and found a left over fish so two are eating. I think #2 has the original fish because it is struggling to tear it up and the eldest feed itself much easier . So my guess is it is the eldest standing on perch on the right . The bird on the right is not in plain view either ,
Whew! it is hard to tell who is who .
The first fish looked quite large so EJ may have delivered it.
