Hi everyone, It was quite a day yesterday. Titch showing off his flying skills, landings not so good
Didn't see much as was out for most of the morning. Afternoon had its moments, with fish deliveries, intruder alerts, and flying practice In all a typical osprey family day again.
What will tomorrow bring!!!! Titch is home alone, EJ , after a late night snack with junior, flew off about 11pm to roost. The other two are probably nearbye but Junior still prefers the safety of the nest.
Happy viewing night shift and we do value all your contributions as it keeps us informed of whats gone on or not as the case may be overnight. Hope I'm not being pompous about that.
Take care all. Night, night.

The eldest is full and left the nest . There is still half of the fish uneaten that EJ delivered . EJ just returned to eat and serve the remaining fish . titch and #2 are still on the nest but making no attempt to go to EJ to eat .
Now #2 ( 0r maybe Titch) is being fed BY EJ.
It appears EJ is especially hungry today.

Still camera has indeed stopped early:
LAST PIC TODAY.
In spite of the rain all the chicks and EJ are full. She still has a small part of the fish under her foot looking around for anyone else who is hungry.
They all look soaked and the nest has turned to mud and sticks . I wonder if Titch will want to sleep tonight on that soggy mess
Still a soggy scene! EJ with a fish ... somebody on the barricade ... and somebody hiding behind a rain splodge!!

Well, have just been reading back over what I missed this afternoon - seems to have continued raining, and intruder alerts, too, so eventful in that respect.
Several fish reports, so will try to show a Fish List for today - It has been a confusing day for everyone as even harder than usual to ID the birds. Later on of course, I shall discontinue the Fish List as they will sometimes eat fish in a tree, away from our prying eyes.
Please tell me if this seems wrong:
Teatime Fish List:
EJ brought the 1st whopper of the day at about 7.02am, then another at approx. 14.25pm. Odin then brought 2, one at 14.35pm and one at 16.42pm, then EJ brought another at 16.54ish -
Total today so far - 5 Fish
Cant argue with your fish facts Linda. Fishtastic as usual.
Somebody has found room for some more of that monster fish .... judging by the squeaks it must be Titch ... way too murky to see properly!
A couple of birds on the nest - one must be Titch as he's practising flapping again!
EDIT; both of them are flapping away!
That sounded like an Odin chirrup offscreen!
Hooray....the weather is going to be OK tomorrow.
