Hi everyone, It was quite a day yesterday. Titch showing off his flying skills, landings not so good
Didn't see much as was out for most of the morning. Afternoon had its moments, with fish deliveries, intruder alerts, and flying practice In all a typical osprey family day again.
What will tomorrow bring!!!! Titch is home alone, EJ , after a late night snack with junior, flew off about 11pm to roost. The other two are probably nearbye but Junior still prefers the safety of the nest.
Happy viewing night shift and we do value all your contributions as it keeps us informed of whats gone on or not as the case may be overnight. Hope I'm not being pompous about that.
Take care all. Night, night.

Middle one right at the front with Titch eating his just behind. EJ behind Middle one and Eldest at the back eating his fish. At least I think so !!!!!!!!!!!!
Definitely EJ eating the fish nearest to us ... just saw her leg ring!

Oops got it wrong then. Its EJ eating then. Titch right at the front and Middle one behind Titch.
Poor EJ ... she looks famished the way she is tearing into that fish !
It doesn't look or even acting like EJ, but it is ringed and no bird is objecting. Must be because she is so wet and bedraggled looking.
Must tear myself away and get dinner. Back later on to catch up. Raining hard by the sounds of it.One last one before I go
What a dreich day!

EJ has returned and is feeding?Middle? youngster from her whopper of a fish!
David Anderson has posted on the main blog that there was an intruder but all is ok now.
EJ is now feeding Titch ( going by the squeaks at each mouthful) I can't see the tail feathers or the head properly.
The stills camera seems to have stopped at 5.34pm.
