Hi everyone, It was quite a day yesterday. Titch showing off his flying skills, landings not so good
Didn't see much as was out for most of the morning. Afternoon had its moments, with fish deliveries, intruder alerts, and flying practice In all a typical osprey family day again.
What will tomorrow bring!!!! Titch is home alone, EJ , after a late night snack with junior, flew off about 11pm to roost. The other two are probably nearbye but Junior still prefers the safety of the nest.
Happy viewing night shift and we do value all your contributions as it keeps us informed of whats gone on or not as the case may be overnight. Hope I'm not being pompous about that.
Take care all. Night, night.

I thought it was Odin with his back to us, he's just left now though!. There seemed to be no pale edging to the feathers, -but it's difficult to tell, isn't it ! Very white head, too.
I'm confused now, is it Titch that has gone for a flyabout or eldest or middle one. Whichever, we are left with two of them tucking into "their" fish.
Clip of the confusion after the last fish delivery by Odin. I think it will clear things up for you:

Thanks for that Alan :o) I was totally confused, glad you were paying attention :o)
..all sounds very confusing! Lots of shouting again on the nest as I type -
I have to go out now for a while, Happy Watching.
Thanks for clip Alan, -so it was #2 nearest and who flew off, it seems? The feather colouring did seem different to the other two, as well as the whiter head, but I think someone has pointed that out before,...
Somebody just flew down from the camera post to join the two who are eating!
EDIT - thanks for the clip Alan ... made things a lot clearer!

All three back on the nest. two still eating, one just come in is shouting away.
One that was shouting to the left of the above pic has gone to the back of the nest and has managed to get a titbit from the other one.
And the one who just flew in has pinched a fish I think!
