Summary of the season so far:
Maya arrived back 12 March and Blue 33(11),on 14 March. The pair are currently incubating three eggs - #1 laid 28 March, #2 laid 31 March and #3 on 3 April.
Maya and 33 have incubated these eggs for 34 days now and in a few days we should see the first hatching of the season and another record broken!
Hi Mike, its been the mushroom for quite a while now, going to have to get a LOT earlier to catch a sunrise I think, I am just glad that it is dry with the possibility of there being a hatching today

I notice the large fish piece has gone so Maya and 33 have had breakfast.
Also since I last posted Maya has checked/turned the eggs twice! And she is up again for another check. How exciting :-)
33 has arrived - nice shot of them both
Maya flies off leaving 33 with the eggs - close up

Karen. Was that your close up or did the 'centre' zoom in?
Birdies LG DU update.
Hi Mike, my close up.
I usually always say when the centre zooms in as that sort of alerts us something may be up plus gives others a chance to grab screen shots.
But Mike, I have never seen the cam zoom in this season - have you?
That was the reason for my question Karen! I had the same thought. Was Paul up early in the hope of a capture?
No I have not seen any movement this year.
I thought so Mike :-) Interesting no zoom, I wonder if all is well with the equipment?
I must get on now. I will be watching from a distance :-)
Maya continues to check the eggs - I still can't see anything

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Is that a hole in the top egg?
