Another osprey was around so he saw them off
In reply to Sandra C:
Thanks Sandra - I thought I saw something, but so quick and of course the cam is quite blurred with all the rain.
When do you finish your shift today?
I finish at 9 Karen.
Not much longer then Sandra. Must be horrible finishing as could watch them all day, but I think you will be glad in these conditions.
Where is Maya just now - can you see her?
She is eating on the t perch at the mo
33 still sitting on the eggs but is looking quite alert and constantly around him and up. Something flying around?
There is a barn owl in the field behind the nest and loads of black headed gulls around
Thanks Sandra.
I wondered what was bothering 33 but give him his due he has stayed on these eggs keeping them warm and dry.
We can see the rain on 33's back - he'll be glad when Maya comes back to take over and have a good shake!
33 still incubating. Maya must really be enjoying that fish plus a break.
Sandra, despite the rain, I hope you have enjoyed your shift. Drive home carefully.
I've got to go now SYAL
