What wonderful captures. Thank you for posted them Mary and a big thank you to Darren.
We visited Kinnordy and Balgavies for the first time yesterday and were rewarded with nice views of four Ospreys and a lovely Marsh Harrier (among others). Sadly, no big gorgeous close up Osprey shots from me, but for those who have never been to the Loch, here’s a view of the nest site from the hide, as it looked yesterday. :-)

Glad you had successful visits to Loch of Kinnordy and Balgavies Paul A, I have always been lucky to see Osprey's fishing at Kinnordy nearly every time I have visited there, didn't see the Marsh Harriers this year though, so you did well seeing one. Always lots to see at both locations.
GOOD morning MARY I have had terrible trouble getting on here how wonderful to see ospreys fishing I would love to see that
Good Morning Patily
Loch of Kinnordy Nr. Kirriemuir in Angus seems to be in a position which attracts a lot of the Ospreys in the area Patily. I remember seeing my very first Osprey fishing there back in 2013, I was so excited :-) Now I expect to see one every time I go LOL... I have seen the Marsh Harriers every year since then until this year so it shows that sometimes its pure luck in what you see.
Absolute love this photo that Darren took at Aviemore Lochan.
How this Osprey managed to carry this fish is phenomenal! His legs look so thin too :-)
