A photo very similar to this and credited to Darren has made page 9 of today’s Herald. The osprey is looking straight at the lens. Fabulous!
Having Internet connection difficulties so thanks for posting Korky.
Darren was also published in The Press and Journal, The Courier, and The Daily Telegraph today too.
He certainly deserves the recognition and all the accolades.
I am surprised that not many forumites ever enter his free competitions to get a hold of one of his beautiful photographs. Such a kind and generous thing for him to do.
Thank you Mary for sharing Darren's fantastic photographs.
Also thanks to Roberto for sharing the wonderful photographs taken on your visit.
I have to say we are definitely getting brilliant shots from Balgavies this year, thank you again everyone, keep up the good work! :)

Doing a catch up on Balgavies now in true Scylla form LOL...
When Darren texted me about the different newspapers he was published in the other day he did say the Daily Telegraph, but I think it was wrong info he got from the agency that had his photographs.
Anyway these are the 5 papers that he got published in. It is so well deserved, as his photographs are stunning, and he is so humble, kind and generous, and deserves all the accolades.
Darren's update on 30 July
and the photographs.
These are two beautiful young juveniles. They are trying their talons at fishing in the loch :-)
Another stunning photo of the male at the other nest in Angus. WOW! :-)
