EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Thank you very much Roberto for your reports and fabulous photos from your visit to Balgavies, very much appreciated by me.
Have a good journey home, and no doubt you will be back next year for yet another birding holiday :-) I will be reciprocating by visiting Italy in the near future too LOL.
Absolutely beautiful pictures ROBERTO Thank you
Are you birding in Italy, MARY
Thanks Mary and Patily. You're tooooo generous, especially after you've seen Darren's pictures... LOL
Sure I'll come back to Scotland next year, so many nice places and opportunities to see wildlife here. I'll introduce you to White Storks and Marmots if you visit Italy, Mary.
Patily - Not a Birding holiday but it won't stop me looking around for anything that flies :-)
Roberto - This year I will be even further south from you alas, but I will check out what birds I am likely to see in the area.
Oh Love marmots since I first saw them way back in the early 70s
ROBERTO, if you are still reading this, Have you heard of LIPU? I am a UK member
Hi Patily, LIPU is the Italian charity protecting birds - the equivalent of RSPB so to say - and of course I'm a member too. Happy that there's reciprocity in joining charities abroad, I'm a RSPB and SWT member.
But we are going a bit off context here, if any information/hints on birding in in my area (mainly Northern Italy and Switzerland), please don't hesitate to send me a private message and I'll be happy to assist you.
You are always so generous with your time and knowledge Roberto, thank you!
I hope your visit this year has yielded many wonderful bird sightings :-)
Thanks ROBERTO
One of the chicks this morning when I made a quick visit.
Unfortunately I couldn't stay and enjoy the fledge - a matter of few hours I guess... and most likely has fledged already at this time.
