Darren was at the loch last night. Chicks are getting big now, not long until they fledge.

Thanks for sharing, Mary.
Made a quick visit at Balgavies last Sunday. Drizzly weather and the light was fading out, I've no decent images to share. Chicks are growing indeed, I saw some wing stretching, but no flapping yet.
There was an intruder when I arrived short after 8PM, the female was in the nest screaming and Green BF wasn't at home. I managed to read the ring: Blue KR3, left leg. I could not find it in public lists, but I've reported the sighting at RD website and I trust that Roy will send me information on this bird.
How interesting, Roberto, and well done for managing to ID the Darvic number. I hope you hear back button Roy or Tim.

Hi Roberto
Thanks for your report on your visit to Balgavies, a shame the weather wasn’t better for you, considering all the lovely weather we have been having recently, well done for getting the ring number of the intruder, you have a knack for it, as you spotted the Kielder intruder last year too. I hope you hear back from Roy soon with the details.
Enjoy the rest of your visit if you are still in Scotland :-) Check your In box :-)
Darren has sent me some of his stunning photos from the other nest in Angus. Gorgeous photos, perfection personified.

How amazing Perfection indeed Many thanks to Darren, MARY and to you
Thank You Patily, it’s my pleasure to post them but it’s nice to know they are appreciated :-).
Of course it’s all thanks to Darren in being so generous to share them with us.
Wonderful pictures as usual, thanks Mary and Darren.

This was only a "slight diversion" while en-route to Inverness where I'm now. I will have further opportunities as I'll move down to Angus in few days for a longer stay.
Oh that is great that you will be able to visit again Roberto. I hope the weather will be much better for you then, and seeing how intruders usually turn up when you are there, a visit from Blue YD would do nicely. :-)
