Evening folks,
It was an action packed day yesterday with the eldest enjoying his new found freedom, unwanted visitors and EJ protecting the youngsters. The two left on the nest were practicing their wing flapping, hopefully one will fledge tomorrow if not both. Didn't see a lot of the action but recorded some.
All peaceful at present. Happy viewing to all in the early hours and see you in the morning, night, night.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Hello, Benita - & Welcome - yes, you're right we could be seeing EJ's youngsters and not know it, what a shame :-(
Welcome Benitea and as Lindybird says we will never know in 3 years time if the intruders are her offspring. Such a shame they could not be ringed and tagged this year but it was the right decision.
Margobird
15.39 and Odin arrives with a good size fish bless him.
EJ with a fish ??
I think EJ is going to feed them this time but something seems to be disturbing her as fish under her talons and she is looking around.
I was sitting in the conservatory and heard all the fuss ... Odin bringing a fish, which EJ bagged!
Welcome Benita!

Oh, that explains it, Joan - I wondered how it had arrived, just saw it under EJ's foot! She's not in a hurry to give it to the 2 youngsters - wonder where #1 is?
Hello Benita .... welcome
So, Odin with a fish Margobird?
Odin brings in a fish just as I'd had a quick read through the posts since this morning. Brilliant timing Odin!

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Tug of war between EJ and one youngster ... the young one won ... Titch I presume!
