Evening folks,
It was an action packed day yesterday with the eldest enjoying his new found freedom, unwanted visitors and EJ protecting the youngsters. The two left on the nest were practicing their wing flapping, hopefully one will fledge tomorrow if not both. Didn't see a lot of the action but recorded some.
All peaceful at present. Happy viewing to all in the early hours and see you in the morning, night, night.

Thanks Lynette. Not much has changed since that photo you posted last night - except the wind is up.
Well! Assume it was chick #1 who got up, shook, stretched and flew off. Siblings, who didn't bother to move at all, are swiveling their heads: "Where's he off to?"
OK. Another chick up - I think someone landed on the cam post - saw something fly n the distance and then they both looked up. Oh, both are up now. One is backing up - and - no! Not din with a fish but a poop. Uh. Lotsa flapping going on.
Oh gosh. Looks like flapping chick has got its talon caught around a branch - can't seem to break free of it. Ah. OK now. Other chick up. Oh my, #2?? has caught its reflection in the lens and giving us a good hard stare!
Both chicks busy preening.
Something's got their attention. There's a bird close by - not an osprey. Heron!? Where are you? What bird is that? Doesn't sound mean - wow! right by the mike! Tweet. Tweet, Tweet; same little call. Quite piercing. In the meantime, chick by cam has puttered over to other side of the nest and is moving furniture, while our other chick is wondering why everyone is up so early this morning. Aha, swivel, swivel - something is off to their right that has them twisting about. In the meantime, tweety bird has gone off somewhere.
And someone very loud has landed above them on the camera pole. They seem to be mpressed, but not for long; must be that show off older brother!
Good grief. Mr Tweety back very loud and very clear! Chicks now settled again Can't imaging Chick#1 allowing him to share the camera pole....so assume he's gone off again.
Where is everybody tonight? I'm blathering away on three threads! :-)
Good thing it's fairly quiet at LG (probably silly to say that!) because there's been a lot of to-ing and fro-ing at LOTL, where the image isn't as clear. Of course, it's clear at LG, but still not sure who I'm looking at.
Major swiveling going on. But what are they watching? Nothing compelling apparently..... Can't hear any noise on the cam pole; all quiet.
