Daily Update (LG Diary) Wednesday 14th July

  • Now I've got her!!!! hurray!!

EDIT:  Notice that the still cam is now once again showing the wrong time - this was taken only 30 seconds before I put it on the blog....

  • Got her again - she has been staring right at us, its unnerving....

  • EJ certainly is giving us lovely close-ups Linda - she is one beautiful osprey! Those piercing eyes ... how any intruder dares to tangle with her I don't know  :-)

  • Great pic of EJ Lindybird, she really is a beauty.  I am always drawn to her eyes.

  • Not much action since I was last here. Lovely studies of EJ's head and eyes. We could do with some like that of the chicks for ID purposes, but they are not easy to catch.

  • EJ in full attack mode ... flies onto the nest shrieking and mantling

  • That intruder is being really persistent today DjoanS.  EJ just looks fierce you would have thought the intruder would have learnt its lesson now and leave her alone.

  • Geat captures Lindy and DJoan- I had to dash out to the PO. Doesn't look as if much has changed Brenda since we last viewed. Still an intruder and the youngsters huddled at bottom of nest

  • Hi Cirrus looks as though EJ has decided to stay for now in case that intruder comes back.

  • Just thinking, another sad aspect of not being able to ring these chicks, ......... in three years time we could all be watching again, enthralled by the goings -on at this nest and perhaps referring to one of these three as "that pesky intruder" not knowing it to be one of EJ and Odin's offsprings.
