Osprey at Hilton Head right now
A NEW THREAD has been opened for FCS ABERFOYLE - to follow Clarach and her new partner.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Apparently, from their Facebook site, the pair on the platform nest is now an unringed male and Scottish female CK8. They say there is an established pair on the 'second nest' which I think is separate from the 'original nest'. It can be tricky to interpret what is going on here...

Glad I was not watching the Biscay crossing live - what a journey for her. Thanks Alan
Nice blog from Diane at Tweed Valley. How sad for White SS, after many years of successful seasons, he has had so much bad luck in recent years. I do hope that one female will stop by and stay.
Agree Mary - especially when we have some lovely girls wasting their youth with all ready attached males and nests!
I wonder if there has been any news on Red8T and Green J returning?? I keep checking Roy's site but nothing updated.
I asked earlier on this thread and was told Red8T had been seen, I'll see if I can find it.

Here is the reply: from Valerie.
Starling - Yes I did report on our facebook group that Red8T has been seen at Rothiemurchus Fishery :) no news yet on Green J
Starling I check regularly to see if any updates on Green J - there has been nothing been posted about her since September 20th last year.
I don't think there were any sightings of her at her wintering grounds posted anywhere either. I do hope she will be OK as she is such an amazing bird who at 26 has done such a lot for the osprey population.
