Hi folks, its been a day of contrasts. Eldest has enjoyed his freedom by flying backwards and forward to the camera post and then landing on the nest. The other two have been doing exercising but as yet have not taken their maiden flights.
Only 2 fish late afternoon and then one very small one in the evening. They are keeping them lean and kean so to speak.
Two are asleep on the nest and the eldest is on the cam post, I think.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

Eldest went for quick fly around off the nest post. Middle chick followed its flight all round and back to the nest post . Eldest made lots of noise on return.
Hi Annette I find is so funny to watch. One of them has been really trying to get lift off but not quite yet. It might still fledge today. I will probably miss it as after my afternoon session will not be able to watch again until tomorrow so fledging is bound to happen. Haven't managed to catch any fledgings yet either at LG or LOtL.

Hi All. Back from being 'out' and see there are two noisy young 'uns on the nest again.
Thanks for posts and pics of the afternoon.
Hi Lindybird lots of wing flapping but no take offs yet. I have to log out soon and won't be back until tomorrow so I still think I am going to miss a fledge.
Some preening going on, and interest in the outside world:
-- just heard a loud CLUNK! so #1 must be on the post again.
EJ won't be too impressed youngster 2 is moving things around again.
I've been doing other things but have recorded so will look at them later.
Two up and preening and exercising - it looks damp but it could just be rain on the lense.
#1 goes for a short flight and returns to the nest for a lie down!
