Hi folks, its been a day of contrasts. Eldest has enjoyed his freedom by flying backwards and forward to the camera post and then landing on the nest. The other two have been doing exercising but as yet have not taken their maiden flights.
Only 2 fish late afternoon and then one very small one in the evening. They are keeping them lean and kean so to speak.
Two are asleep on the nest and the eldest is on the cam post, I think.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

Thanks Cirrus! I can see #1's shadow on the nest sometimes at the bottom left ... must be preening up there.

Jet just went over did you see the youngster looking up and watching. Probably wondering about all the noise it makes. Looked as though it was going to lay flat for a moment.

Scaredy cats ... both birds on the nest cowered from the intruder .... an RAF jet :-))

There is some serious wing exercising going on at the moment.
Thanks Lynette - have to get used to all the hiding places now!
Morning all: Two visible on nest and one flapping furiously and lifting off - but only a couple of inches. Ooops - that's enough for now, it's catching its breath again.
Thanks for brilliant reports overnight (not me - sigh) and this morning!
I love the way the two on the nest duck when #1 comes to land on the post .... as if they're not quite sure if its an intruder or not!!
Lynette it is trying really hard at the moment. Think it might fledge today, could be wrong but that wing flapping is very strong now.
