Daughter and dog now en route home. Phew. Cat has stopped skulking about and peering suspiciously around every corner.
In case you missed it, Lindybird is back from her cruise.
Rosy: Daughter made it easy this time - she corralled a friend and her son to do most of the feeding but there was just one day when neither could do it. Grandson put everything in labeled tubs so all I had to do was toss it over the fence! Why are cats so inflexible? :-)
Really will try to catch up tomorrow!

BRENDA - Glad your daughter in law is recovering. At least she has youth on her side, which will help her to recover more quickly. It's been a worrying time for you all.

Been to visit sis-in-law, and took Bonnie with us. They were both excited to see each other! Tonight we cooked a roast, and demolished a whole bottle of white wine between us.
Sis-in-law has had a bad chest for several weeks now, and is seeing her doctor often: they have tried anti biotics and inhalers, but she is now on steroids to try and shift her congestion. She has never smoked and keeps fit by walking regularly. It seems to be a virus which takes a long time to get over :-(
ps - My OH has now gone to sleep in his chair, with his feet on the new stool!

Lindy, I had to laugh at your OH having his feet on the new stool. No wonder he was in such a hurry to get it!
I have a wry smile, Rosy! He often drops off whilst watching TV., even when it's something he wanted to see.
I can see a h u g e moon out there, think that Diane said it would be a big Harvest Moon this week. Hoping it'll be dry tomorrow so that we can go for a walk.
