HAPPY NEW WEEK!

Last week's Chat thread is here.

I left a long reply on the end of last week's thread.

I've got a nasty deadline this week for my project, so you all won't hear from me for a few days. I hope everyone has a great week!

  • Sorry about your daughter, Heather. I do hope she will be alright.

I did laugh at your comment about your OH washing the car. LOL  He must need some chocolate now :-))

  • YAS   Just love your wee house, thank you for showing it to us. It looks like a dream. Where do you live????

HEATHER   Sorry to hear about your daughter. Wishing her well. Is she in Dr Greys? I have a friend who is a Dr in  A&E there. She is only very part time now since she turned 60. A truly wonderful Dr and loved by all who know her ( which I have done since we were 4 and living in a wee village in the central belt.

A wonderful day again though we spent a few hours of the afternoon glued to the tv watching the Andy Murray match. The first 2 sets were spellbinding, but Andy just walked the next 2. Glad he won though.

Looking forward to the final "Highlands Scotlands Wild Heart" tonight. I do wish it wasn't the last one. It has been  compelling viewing.

  • Yes, DIBNLIB,she in Dr Grays. Just texted me, she isn't feeling too bad at the moment. I think Dr Grays is great, she had second baby there. I was very impressed and so was she.

Thanks for good wishes. I will be watching Scotland's wild heart, also.
  • HEATHER Oops, spelling mistake. I should have known better. Glad you have had an update from your daughter.

  • Sorry about your daughter, Heather. Sounds as if she's in good hands.

Love your Hobbit house, Yas - grass roofs are all the rage these days! Seriously, though,  they always strike me as a good idea and good insulation, too.

Wish we could watch Scotland's Wild Heart, but can't believe it won't be repeated elsewhere, sometime, it sounds wonderful.

  • Has anyone been watching Springwatch tonight?  They've just shown a stunning photo of a purple heron - Limpy took it, and he's been credited on screen!  Woo Hoo!

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • You might be able to see it on Sky, bbc Scotland, or on catchup tv, LINDY. Not a techie, sorry. I'm sure that OG or DIBNLIB might know xx

    Thanks for good wishes!
