A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Morning All - thanks for all the earlier updates
33 has just returned with the left over fish and Maya is feeding the chicks again

This may be a duplicate, but just in case anyone didn't see ROP's video of "Evil Chick" pecking everyone and everything... (nice sense of humour in the title, I thought):

Thanks Scylla, I hadn't seen that, looked a bit like a temper tantrum :)
Oh my, what a temper that chick! It will grow strong. :-) Thanks for the video, Scylla, I hadn't seen it. And thank you all for the updates.
Maya is brooding at the moment.
