HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Last week's chat thread is here.
I saw R. T. Hawk on Thursday. It's been so cold here that I had to put the battery charger on my car for a long while. I went out as the sun was setting to remove it. R. T. screeched at me when I went out the front door. When I closed the car bonnet/hood, he screamed at me loudly and flew around his tree. I think he was telling me off for disturbing him when it was time to roost in his tree. He called more gently when I went indoors. :-)))
Everyone have a wonderful week. Roll on spring!!!

Good morning, all! Annette, I suspect the only transport to be effective right now in Philadelphia will be a sled.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good Morning Everyone. Misty / foggy here this morning.
Diane, I have checked the cameras and yes, we can see them. Times Square is quite active at the moment. Traffic is still flowing and some people walking. Very bright lights showing in Washington. Philadelphia, the picture is not clear yet.
Just watched the weather report from Delamere. 13'' of snow, but winds are only 30mph.
No post from me, as the Site is doing weird things again.... :-(
Sorry, Linda. It was alright earlier. I will try posting this.
No problems.
New neighbour's OH was taken, by ambulance to hospital, at 3am this morning. He was admitted last Saturday and kept in until yesterday. She is sitting at home waiting for news from him. ( I don't know why she didn't go with him to the hospital ) They suspected a heart attack last weekend, but couldn't find any problems, after various tests, so discharged him. We slept through the ambulance arriving / leaving. We haven't really got to know them yet, but she rang me at 8am to tell me and asked if we would be around if she needed us. They have no children.
OG The hotel is in 101/2 acres so Benson can be walked there (poo bins supplied ) and poo bags and dog treats also supplied in the rooms. We will certainly do the fish ladder walk and Loch Faskally whatever the weather.
It hasn't been the best of days.Yesterday Benson found something on his afternoon walk and when OH tried to get it from him at home, he took a gulp and down the hatch it went. This morning OH found 1/2 a doz sharp green plastic bits in the garden. Let's hope he hasn't,t done himself damage. Next we found that our 81/2 year old Toshiba laptop had. given up the ghost and not worth repairing so it was off into town to see what was what. We eventually decided on an IMac and OH has just gone back into town to get one . I am muddling through on his IPad at the mo. Next, I am waiting for him in the car and a chunk of a back tooth came. off. Typically it would be Sat and we are away before 0900 on Mon. It isn't hurting so I am going to Pitlochry and will try and get an appt for Fri.
It is good to read everyone's news and see Clare's always delightful pic
Finally travel with dog, you always take towels and he has a drying coat as well.
Brenda, your poor neighbour. IT certainly says a lot about you, that although she doesn't,t know you well she still felt she could call on you for help.
Lindy Bonnie is definitely, a bit of a Houdini.
I second that, DIBNLIB

Looking at the weather in US east coast. I couldn't make DIANES link work this morning but saw it on BBC news.
