This is a continuation thread following the travels of osprey Breagha, hatched at Loch Garten in 2013.
I put together this table to set out the big events of Breagha's life, and his migrations. I might continue trying to get it to display better, but the links to LG blogs seem to work.

Tracker identified as Breagha’s, and some osprey feathers, later found by Noisette http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/placestovisit/lochgartenospreys/b/lochgartenospreys/archive/2015/10/19/breagha-s-tracker-found-by-jeremy-roberts.aspx
On the last day of the trip, I decided to skip the last chateau visit, to go for a walk through the Bocage du Veron, which was Breagha's base during much of his stay in September 2013.
View over the Bocage du Veron from across the Vienne (also featuring the Centre Nucleaire)
It was a wild, windy and sometimes wet day, but I made it to the Lac de Tetine, which was Breagha's favourite roost there:
So, not much water, after a dry summer but following a night of torrential rain. The Lake seems to be part of a "boire", which is the local term for an old course of the river which floods when the river overflows.
I can't think of a word in English for "bocage" either. It's an area where the risk of seasonal flooding means there are no buildings, and the traditional hedges have largely been retained. This is a video of the Bocage in spring:
Thanks, Sue--looks lovely!
Kind regards, Ann

There appears to be no further update other than 10 September. He seemed to be quite at home there at the time. I hope all is well with him.

II really hope so Sheila, thought it had changed to updates every three days ... must confess I don't know who uploads data to Google! Does it have anything to do with Loch Garten having closed for the season?
Did I read somewhere that he had headed a bit south?
Gosh, I thought he was still on the Loire, just read this through & found he's been on my doorstep for weeks!! Is he still there though? What a shame I missed the move. Grrrrrrr Too busy with my moths!!
Best wishes

Updates had been patchy up to the 10th with only selected days being entered to the kml file. Just have to wait for an update.
The tracking data is downloaded, analysed and input to Google Earth by a locally-based volunteer called Mike, who has sometimes posted blogs relating to tracking as Mike H. It may just be that he's been on his hols following the closure of the Osprey Centre, but I have his email address as we were in contact about my trip to France, so will get in touch with him.
