IN THE HUMAN BREAST HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL
In February we said goodbye to Millicent, EJ's 100th chick to fledge from the famous nest. We continue to watch Breagha, our only remaining tagged osprey juvenile.
In March we await the arrival of EJ and Oden, to start another family of fascinating bobbleheads.
CRinger here at the Gabfest is EXACTLY "the correct place to post". thanks for the inf0.
WOW wonderful pics & info re DAI DOT
Thankyou Keith for the lovely photos of Dai Dot and his daughter. Very happy about this information! I hope they return this year. Brilliant news the female at Glaslyn has returned.
The Birds will stop singing in the morning. I remember this last time we had an almost full eclipse of the sun. I think in Central Scotland we may get a 90+% full eclipse.
SONGBIRDS FALL SILENT
Hi, KEITH & GABBERS Enjoy your eclipse. I'll watch for videos.
Good evening all. We will not see the eclipse as its going to be cloudy here :( I will watch it anyway !
Keith thanks for the link to the interesting information about the eclipse.
June did you get my PM?
I wonder if Lake Distict White 14 is heading home yet? I hope that Rothiemurchus is spotted this season as his tracker has stopped working.
Its great seeing the cameras up and running. I like all the visitors at Rutland!
just had some of my Christmas/easter cake and it tastes quite nice. Cannot have any just before work as its stuffed with alcohol and Network Rail have a zero tolerace policy on alcohol.
Off to bed now. Good night all
received & answered, Willow thanks millions.
your cake looks lovely and sounds delicious.

As for BLUE AE (ROTHIEMURCHUS) a favourite of every osprey follower being a returning tagged bird and having the privelige of being able to follow his first five years life. I think we all hope we may encounter him some day maybe he will land on the nest at LOTL or certainly be spotted around the upper River Tay area. I wish he had kept transmitting until he got a mate and nest and that would have been a nice closure to his transmissions. He just evaded me last year on Loch Ordie - we were both around that day but never met :).
