IN THE HUMAN BREAST HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL
In February we said goodbye to Millicent, EJ's 100th chick to fledge from the famous nest. We continue to watch Breagha, our only remaining tagged osprey juvenile.
In March we await the arrival of EJ and Oden, to start another family of fascinating bobbleheads.
HURRAH!
We have a cam and looks like a perfect view.
also new Main Blog. very long, will take a wee while to read.includes a video of cam installation
wasn't there talk of a cam at Glaslyn? Will check emails for news from an osprey watcher friend.
Not sure if this is the correct place to post - but the LG cam appears to be on!
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.
Good afternoon all. Yes Thankyou Keith I was getting mixed up with Blue 24 and Blue 28! Id not realised Dai Dots got his own nest I thought he dissappeared rather forlornly with no nest and no partner! So Dai Dots is a father better news than i expected :) Did he nest at Glaslyn? Thanks for putting me right there!
June I lost track of dear Dai Dot but seems he had a great season with 2 chicks that fledged! Brilliant news and happy hes one of my favorites!
June maybe they posted on Glaslyn facebook or something. I havent facebook so dont follow. I dont know if he found a nest at Glaslyn
Willow - I don't think the info about Dai Dot finding a nest came out until the Dyfi book that was published in December.

58WILLOW - May I just say that Dai Dots nest is in mid Wales and can not on here disclose the exact location.
It was only shortly after being escorted out of the Dyfi by Monty that he learnt by his mistakes and wasted no time in finding a female and by May she had laid three eggs.
Two of these hatched and fledged and am pleased that he is one of your favourites and have a happy story of him.
Both chicks were ringed and the dud egg removed on 7 August 2014.
Here are some pictures for you as he is a favourite.
