WEEKLY CHAT (non-osprey) SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8, 2015

Hi everyone!

  • He's moving better, though he's still in lots of pain.  How are you today, Lindy?

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • Good Morning Everyone. A cloudy dull morning, with a fog warning, but it doesn't appear to be foggy here.

OH has been having phone calls from local and district councillors since 8am this morning. The developer for next door's garden has had to withdraw his plans. So round one to us. As a group, we hired our own planning surveyor and highways advisor, so besides our own letters, we also had their reports. Now we wait for round 2. Both councils agreed with us.

Linda, Sorry you are still feeling 'off' this morning. Possibly not the best day for your friend and her pup to visit, but as she is such a close friend, I am sure she will understand if you are not your usual lively self.

  • LINDY   hope you feel better soon. Beautiful day here and meant to be walking with a friend but Benson is limping since this mornings walk so we may be going without him.

  • I hope Benson will be fine, after a rest, Dibnlib. Enjoy your walk with your friend. Still a grey day here.

  • Sorry to hear about Benson, dibnlib - hope it soon wears off. We enjoyed our get together - my OH came home early from golf, and my Friend brought her OH as well as their cute pup, so we had a happy hour discussing training, and crates, and other doggy things. I feel a little better but will have to eat bland things for a while, I think. I'll be fine. Friend and I are planning to go to the Cinema on Thursday, so looking forward to it as we've not been for a while.
  • Awwwww!

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • And another great big Awwwwww!

Friend came without her 3 dogs, but with a friends Pomeranian (suitably dressed in a pink harness) Unless my friend walks her, then I am afraid she doesn't get walked, poor thing. Bensons limp was barely noticable so we were out for over an hour on a glorious afternoon. Interestingly we met up with a male Pom and Benson kept chasing him away from Breagha. Never seen him do that before. He usually wants to play with other dogs, but although he was not aggresive his intentions were obvious. "You leave my girl alone"

Working a full day tomorrow. My work pattern(not that there really was a pattern) and I am now working 1100-1600 every Sun and one other full day 0930-1730. Supper calls, bye for now.

  • BRENDA - Thank you for post re my OH. I usually go with him if I'm worried about anything but they whisked him away at the Eye Clinic and I didn't like to trail along:-(

I will make sure that I get relevant info next week.

  • Yet another beautiful morning, hope it stays that way.
