Hi everyone!
Hallo everyone. Nice rain today (Saturday) - only about an inch, but oh well. Garden is happy for now.
Check back on last week's thread to see Lindy's Ode to Grandbabies (one with a wobbly smile!) and her link to a video of Odin Flying Under the Influence and landing on EJ, dibnlib's comforting shoulder and lunch for a friend in need, OG's lovely clear shot of Odin and EJ on their nests (in 2010) and a very sweet shot of Starling's soon-to-be-new-best-friend.
Starling: Are you taking suggestions? How about Smokey? Feel free to ignore! :-)
Nice breakfast with friend (well, the actual food is a bit hit-and-miss at this place but it's easy for friend and convenient for both), then to gym, then home to housework/laundry as very good old friend from down south (that's Orange County, CA) is coming on Tuesday to stay for a couple of nights. She's a hoot.
Have a good Sunday all.
Good morning, all! It's a beautiful morning and I'm about to put some washing out.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
By the way I've very pleased to report that there's obvious improvement in Limpy's back today. Woo Hoo!
Goodness knows what happened to my longish post but no time to repeat as I am off to work shortly.
Time to say though what an adorable little bundle of a puppy STARLING and look forward to seeing many more pics and also pics of LINDYs puppy. I would call him "Ghillie". If Benson hadn't already been named by the breeder when we got him at 7 months old. he would definitely been a "Ghillie" bye for now
Hi Everyone. We went out for a meal last night to an Italian restaurant. Surprised to find that the car had ice on it this morning.
Dibnlib, I hope your friend is still feeling happier this morning. Lovely when we can call on a friend like you and then enjoy a cheerful day.
Starling, Your puppy is so gorgeous. I would love to see him with his eyes open.
OG, Super LG nest photograph, 2010. The year that the chicks weren't tagged or ringed. Oh my, the years just fly by.
Annette, Thanks for starting the week once again. Is this going to be an occasion when your OH finds a room to hide away, while you and your friend chat and laugh for hours ?
Linda, Loved your ditty to your grandchildren. You must have been a happy, tired Gran last night :-))
Limpy, Pleased to hear from Clare that you are feeling some improvement today.
Hi Brenda - My daughter took quite a few pics but she said most of them were not good. He has his eyes open in this one.
