Checked the date twice this time round.
Here's to a pleasant new week all.
LYNETTE love the pics. We have Reds here and some neighbours (without dogs) frequently have them in their garden. We see them in the woods but only once have we had one in the garden.
Oh how lovely Dibnib, they are so cute. Will have to make do with grey for the time being.

Evening all: Very busy day here - but a good one.
BrendaH: Someone who runs 52 marathons in 52 days is trying to prove something I don't want to know about. Good look to your son on Sunday.
dinblib: Re the marathon lady, "mad" works for me. :-) How lovely that you have red squirrels in your garden.
Margo: :-(( Be nice to yourself dear.
Lynette: I'm surprised your squirrel isn't a regular visitor to the bird feeder. Fingers crossed for good weather for your days away!
OG: Do hope you're getting over your cold - and the boys too.
Planning to spend tomorrow working in the garden. Have a good Saturday everyone.
Good Morning Everyone. Cloudy morning but not cold. Playing bowls until 8.30pm last night, it felt quite sultry. We all took warmer clothes in case it became cold but we didn't need them and when we were eating our fish and chip supper in the clubhouse, we had to leave the doors open as it became too hot. Trouble was that the lights attracted all the crane flies and moths. It was a fun evening but I do feel tired this morning.
Lynette, Lovely squirrel photographs. We have far too many squirrels and we don't encourage them. All our bird feeders are squirrel proof, otherwise they can empty very large feeders in no time. I remember, a neighbour, near to our previous house, was invaded by squirrels in his loft. They damaged so much of his electrical wiring and then one was electrocuted, when it blew all the house electrics. The house was old and pebble dashed and the squirrels would cling to the walls and climb to an extremely small hole and gain entry.
Annette, We will be able to follow our son's progress, through an App. They wear a 'micro chip' on one of their shoes.
OG, Your silence must mean that you are all, still quite ill. I really do hope that you are soon on the road to recovery.
Margo, I do hope you are feeling some improvement this morning.
I need to cut the grass today. I will see if I can build up some energy.
ANNETTE not Scots actors but a British crew, probably all English.
BRENDA Amazing that you can follow your sons progress in the Berlin marathon. Yes I guess OG must be extremely poorly and EE and J too. Wishing them all better soon.
I am back to work tomorrow so we had a lazy houseworky day today. Yesterday we went to Inverdruie for coffee, then a walk round Loch an Eilein and finally a late lunch at MC. We met a lovely couple at Inverdruie. Most certainly older than us, they had walked from Blair Atholl to Aviemore over 5 days. pitching their tent where they fancied. They were B&B ing in Aviemore for 2 nights so they could at least have a hot relaxing bath. We recommended MC and they had just finished their lunch when we arrived. They thoroughly enjoyed it, and of course the fantastic view too. They were from Kent but liked to holiday in the big outdoors. They'll be back to Scotland next year.
Some pics of Holyrood Palace, Edn tram and a silhouette of Scott Monument. The latter is a dirty grey and a few years ago it was in wraps as they tried to clean it up. What a waste of time, it didn't work and we all love it as it is anyway.
Not as bad as you suggest, BRENDA and DIBNLIB, but still quite poorly and tired. Thanks for thinking of me. OH only had cold symptoms and headaches and is doing well, J had his spread over several weeks and actually went to work Thursday and Friday - then had someone crash into back of his car after work Friday, but is okay and little damage to car (other insurance is paying). I think my immune problems have given me a worse time than them - all added to other conditions and pains.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
