I have just had a look at Sanibel cam and I see an Osprey has arrived. No idea who it is - is it Ripply from last year or a new bird. I remember last year finding a facebook/blog page about this nest but for the life of me can't remember what it was so can't compare images from last season, so if anyone else can remember......
Great pictures KEITH and good to hear of more healthy nests
Foulshaw Moss update
CHOCOHOLIX - The birds at Lochter are not ringed and will not be ringed - none of the chicks there have ever been ringed.
The adults - Adult Female is not ringed and the male has lost his Darvic Ring.
Over half the birds in Scotland are not ringed.
It has taken me over 48 hours to see each of the chicks and was only certain I had seen three different chicks by taking hundreds of digital photographs and making comparrisons. They never pop up at the same time.
This one evaded me for most of this time. Then took an interest in me.
They have a garden in the nest. The flowers look like ChloeB Avatar
Thank you Keith - great photos!

Thnak KEITH Love the one of the chick studying you
Thanks Keith for letting me know about ringing at Lochter, I did know that a lot of Scottish chicks don't get ringed, but I didn't realise they didn't do it at Lochter. They are fabulous photos, especially the chick looking out from amongst the flowers!

Alan - This is fantastic news for local colonistaion along with great results from Kielder this year.
Looks like Nellie may have found herself a new mate. I really hope so!
While I was swapping the above capture for a slightly better one, Nellie has just removed Tag's body from the nest.
Brilliant news ALAN I haven't heard of Roudsea Moss before??
