I have just had a look at Sanibel cam and I see an Osprey has arrived. No idea who it is - is it Ripply from last year or a new bird. I remember last year finding a facebook/blog page about this nest but for the life of me can't remember what it was so can't compare images from last season, so if anyone else can remember......
The Geagle nest is an eye opening for me ! Thank you TIGER
Ah, Iris ... so glad you have warm feathers. Hang in there girl. Sure looks wet there SCYLLa

Sadly one of the main players in the Hellgate project has announced he is leaving the project. The university have said that the cams will continue.

Update from Kielder: "Intruders again!"
Just in case this tragedy has passed you by, with all the osprey activity keeping you busy...
Persistent rain and wind tipped the Jordan Lake bald eagle nest so badly that both the eaglets slid off during the night. A rescue was attempted at 0600hr (I believe it was too dangerous to attempt in the dark), one eaglet was found dead and the other rescued and is receiving expert care at the Caroline Raptor Center - it is anaemic and has a broken leg - it has its own medical chart!

Oh what a terrible tragedy
Scylla - that is just awful, poor chicks, poor parents.
