This is the new thread for posting reports of osprey sightings, whether on the internet, in the press or in real life.
For the benefit of any new or less frequent viewers, it might be helpful if the first person to refer to a regular online source of information, for example Faune-Aquitaine, provided a link and a brief explanation of what the site is about.

Thanks Sandy I am assuming this is the same one as has been there for a while now. Think it wants to get a move on before this very cold weather hits us.

Margo/Sandy : The Crockey Hill one was a negative sighting. Looks like it has gone now:
17/10 19:33 NORTH YORKSHIRE : Osprey, Crockey Hill [S] no sign today.
There have been no UK sightings reported today so far and none in Holland for the last 2 days now and only 1 today on the French sites that I have been monitoring.

Good evening Alan thanks for the above, it looks as though they may have all left now.
You're right, Alan, that the Crockey Hill one was a non-sighting, as it were. That means that yesterday, the 18th, was the first blank day for sightings this Autumn. Just the one so far today:
19/10 07:35 GLAMORGAN: Neath.
