This is the new thread for posting reports of osprey sightings, whether on the internet, in the press or in real life.
For the benefit of any new or less frequent viewers, it might be helpful if the first person to refer to a regular online source of information, for example Faune-Aquitaine, provided a link and a brief explanation of what the site is about.
Let the migration season commence!
Thanks Sue for starting this thread and the good news is:

Our Temps up in the north of Scotland still very low overnight and snow still on the ground. Please stay in England a little while longer too soon to come up here!!! Some of our lochs are still frozen over.
Tiger, See Alan's post above ( 2nd posting on page ).
I was at WWT Caerlaverock (Solway Firth) yesterday and when talking about "their" Osprey, staff referred to an Osprey seen in Norfolk this year - no date or source details.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Well, I didn't see any mention of an Osprey !!!!!! Rats !!!!!
The Eagles at Two Harbors are such a treat though. The way they greet each other and him, yesterday coming to the nest at 05.40 hours in the dark to give his mate an opportunity to get an early breakfast. He was late this am - just gone 06.00 hours. :) And the West End Nest looks to be a wonderful des res - a panormaic ocean view !!
With many Lochs frozen I hope EJ may delay just a liittle bit, although I suppose the Spey would be good fishing, wouldn't it? So longing to see EJ and Odin team up again.
Enjoy your day everyone - a bit smile to you all.
