This is the new thread for posting reports of osprey sightings, whether on the internet, in the press or in real life.
For the benefit of any new or less frequent viewers, it might be helpful if the first person to refer to a regular online source of information, for example Faune-Aquitaine, provided a link and a brief explanation of what the site is about.
Let the migration season commence!
Thanks Sandy I hope all remaining ospreys leave soon as we are set for cold weather for the next few days.

As Tiger mentioned it on my page, I'm attaching an updated copy of the list of osprey ring IDs I have been compiling.
The format may change, but as before, the 2010 sheet lists the IDs of birds confirmed to be alive at some point during this year.
Any additional IDs, sightings etc gratefully received. If Keith Rogers has found his way to the Forum, I have seen a comment from him suggesting he is working on something similar?
Thanks so much for this excellent compilatiom, Sue, it;'s brilliant! Will be down at Wigtown on Sunday for Book Festival - will visit the Bay and "Osprey Room" if we have time.

This was posted on SWT forum by Jenny C re Threave Castle juvenile:
"I have news of the Threave Castle Ospreys, Keith Kirk, Dumfries & Galloway Council Wildlife Warden and wildlife photographer had a phone call from a french photographer who had photographed Osprey BK, one of the chicks, off the french coast near Brittany, so this is good news. "
