This is the new thread for posting reports of osprey sightings, whether on the internet, in the press or in real life.
For the benefit of any new or less frequent viewers, it might be helpful if the first person to refer to a regular online source of information, for example Faune-Aquitaine, provided a link and a brief explanation of what the site is about.
Let the migration season commence!

Have you had a look at the ring? Is it really 94? Rings have been read wrong before! It is like Glaslyn saying that 94 was safely with them on 26th August!
So did 94 fly all the way to Switzerland in one day?
Or is the date of the photograph wrong?
I think the number on the ring is still inconclusive, being heavily cropped makes it fuzzy. I would definitely not rule out wrong date unless we hear to the contrary.

It's fairly likely that the Spurn sighting above was Spey.

The Burgh Castle sighting was Morven:

It looks like the two Suffolk sightings, at Beccles and Reydon, would also be Morven.

Regarding the sighting of white/black 94 at Lake Klingnau in Switzerland. If he's halfway into his migration then it looks like a Winter in the Adriatic.
